Noda Review

This was a lovely pantomime that gave the audience the feel-good factor as a pantomime should do. The characters quickly established themselves from the opening scene, there seemed to be a few issues on the sound at first, however this settled down as things progressed.

The musical numbers worked well, however they were just a little too long, something to take on board for the future. The dancers were excellent with good routines that were well choreographed, the costumes were colourful, and the set was home-made and looked great - well done! I particularly loved the UV scene, and it was well executed.I loved the smiles of the chorus and the group singing was excellent. The ballroom cloth was excellent, and the custard pie scene was well executed.

The directors had worked hard to deliver a good effort and both David Gallagher and Janet Nattrass had drilled the chorus well.  The lighting was effective and worked.

All the cast worked well, but I must mention Dolly the dame played by David Gallagher to perfection, just be aware of too many in jokes that the audience may not get the gist of, but nonetheless a great performance very funny and you worked the audience with great confidence.
The remainder of the cast were all good and worked well on stage, this was a true community Pantomime and brought together a wonderful spirit well done to you all.
